Working in Collaboration with Stockport Food Partnership and the Stockport Children and Youth Healthy Weight Steering Group
We are pleased to share our new membership as we are working in partnership with the Stockport Food Partnership and the Stockport Children and Youth Healthy Weight Steering Group.
TLC’s Catering Management team recently attended initial meetings and events and look forward to being involved with both groups.
About the Partnerships
The Stockport Food Partnership is a collaborative initiative aimed at promoting healthier, more sustainable food systems within the local community.
They work with a wide range of partners, including schools, businesses, and local organisations, to improve food access, support sustainable food practices, and encourage healthier eating habits for all residents of Stockport.
The Stockport Children and Youth Healthy Weight Steering Group is a collective effort focused on supporting children and young people in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.
The group work with local organisations, schools, and health professionals, to promote healthy eating, physical activity, and overall well-being, aiming to reduce the risks associated with obesity, and related health issues in the Stockport area.
These are great initiatives and fit in with our strategy in the provision of nutritious, healthy meals for the clients we serve, while also aiming to provide sustainable and inclusive options. As a catering provider that cares deeply about our community, we are committed to supporting both the health and wellbeing of our customers, as well as the environment.
