Totally Local Company Launches New Fleet of Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCV’s)
Our Environmental Services team is excited to share some great news regarding the delivery of our six new RCV’s (Refuse Collection Vehicles). The vehicles have undergone rigorous servicing in our Fleet Workshop at Endeavour House to ensure they are fully road ready.
We have added one new Mercedes model, and five new Dennis Eagle models as part of our Fleet Investment programme.
The vehicles have been fitted with specialised Solar Panels and have added an increased reliability and resilience to our R & R Fleet of vehicles giving great benefits to the service and our continued ability to successfully deliver scheduled works.
Mark Rimmer, Divisional Head of Environmental Services said, “Our six new RCV vehicles are now out there, providing valuable resources to our Recycling and Refuse (R & R) Collection services”.
Familiarity training sessions have been carried out with our supervisor teams and the training has been cascaded on to our drivers to ensure they are up to speed with any new technology.
Further investment into our new Fleet vehicles is ongoing as there will be a new Rural Collection Vehicle arriving in December this year, and a further seven new RCV’s arriving in 2025.
