Totally Local Company – New Additions to our Fleet Investment Programme: New Gully Vehicles

Posted On: 30 Jan 2021

As part of our ongoing Fleet Investment Programme, we are excited to announce the addition of a new Whale Gully Vehicle to our fleet.

This latest vehicle acquisition will enhance the reliability and resilience of our Gully Fleet, offering significant benefits to our services and strengthening our ability to successfully deliver scheduled work for our clients.

The new vehicle, a Gully tanker (also known as a gully emptier), is a specialist piece of equipment designed to maintain a clear and effective drainage system. These tankers are equipped with advanced features that enable the removal of debris, waste, and mud, which could otherwise cause blockages or disrupt the gully’s function.

Using powerful suction, the vehicle collects waste for safe disposal, while water jets are deployed to clear any remaining debris, ensuring the drainage system remains free flowing.

In addition to this new Gully tanker, we are expecting another one to join the fleet in the next few months. Together, these two vehicles represent an investment of close to £400,000, further bolstering our fleet and reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality services to our clients.

With these new additions, Totally Local Company is not just clearing the way for better drainage – we’re paving the path to a cleaner, greener future for our community.
