Love is in the air for, JCB, Annie this Valentines
Do your remember Annie? Annie the JCB was designed in partnership with Arnold Plant Hire and Solutions SK to promote local charity St Ann’s Hospice.
In 2016 Annie ran two campaigns, travelling around Stockport and being spotted by locals. This year, she’s back for more.
Stockport-based Facility Management Company, Solutions SK, is relaunching the Annie campaign on Valentine’s Day. To mark the special occasion, you can also spot her new boyfriend, Bobby the JCB.
Keeping it cool on February 14th before their hot date, they’ll both be travelling about town ready for you to spot.
Between the two love struck JCBs, they can be sighted in four different locations:
- Meadowbank Primary School
- Life Leisure, Cheadle
- Stockport Market Place
- Tesco Extra, Portwood
- The Village Hotel in Cheadle …the destination for the Valentine’s evening

The campaign to spot Annie is a really fun way to raise the profile of St Ann’s Hospice. Stockport have been so supportive and engaged with this and we’re really excited to see the photos that people send in.

We have supported National Charities for a number of years, namely Cancer Research and NSPCC. With our latest partnership we wanted to support a Charity closer to home. We have really enjoyed supporting St Ann’s Hospice and the wonderful work they do. With the success of the past ‘Where’s Annie’ campaigns – we see the next campaign as another great chance for the public to get involved and raise money for such a great cause.
How it works
If you manage to be around any of these locations when Annie or Bobby are there – get a snap and post it on our Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/Wheres-Annie-587456608093668/ or text in with a photo with your name and “I found Annie and/or Bobby” to 07800 618 021, and you’ll receive a £5 voucher.
As Love is in the air for Annie and Bobby, Solutions SK wanted to give you a little extra this time. Everyone who sends in a photo with Annie or Bobby will also be entered into a prize draw to win a fantastic stay for two at the Village Hotel, Cheadle.
If that wasn’t enough, for every sighting reported, Solutions SK and Arnold Plant Hire will make a £5 donation to St Ann’s Hospice.
