Solutions SK to hold Funding Seminar for local schools

We’re planning a free learning seminar for all schools in Stockport with a guest speaker on access to funding and bid writing skills.

Further to the success of our Showcase Seminar in October, where guest speaker, Myles Bremner talked with schools across Stockport about School Food Culture in 2017, we’re excited to confirm plans are now in place to hold another seminar in early 2017.

Feedback from delegates at the last event suggested a session on funding would be in great demand and we are pleased to say a speaker has been secured.

Whilst we continue to prepare for the event, before invitations are sent out, we would like schools to let us know how they would like the format of this event to run.

Please note, the poll is only open to representatives from schools, for example, teachers, business managers and headteachers.

Based on the votes we receive, we will then plan the event around the majority consensus.

Options:

Option 1:

A speaker presentation covering guidance and signposting on funding and bid writing, followed by Q&A.

This event will take place between 1100 -1400

Option 2:
Speaker presentation and workshop sessions on funding and bid writing.

This event will take place between 0930 – 1400

Places at the event will be available free of charge and full details will be released in the New Year.
