Totally Lighting Up Stockport
It has been another busy winter for the Totally Local Lighting team.
This season, the Totally Local Lighting elves have provided their services and skills to install many lights and trees across Stockport. We thought we’d share just a few of the festive lighting statistics with you.
- 375 festive lighting motifs on lighting columns
- 39 cut trees have been lit up for Christmas, including the tree at St Ann’s Hospice and the 40ft tree in Stockport Town Centre
- Lights on 25 ‘live’ trees across Stockport
- Lights in two cribs to ensure passers-by see the scene
- A Menorah on the A34
In addition to this, our team have also taken part in 13 Christmas tree light switch-ons.
Rachel Glindon from Brinnington Events Team said:
“I just wanted to say thank you – the tree looks awesome and
everyone commented on the amount of lights we have on it this year. It truly looks stunning.”
Chairman of the Marple Bridge Association, Philip Cooke has also expressed his thanks to the team for their part in the Marple Bridge Winter Wonderland:
“Thank you for sorting out the Christmas tree for Marple Bridge and also for your staff attending the event and switching on the lights for Santa. Everything went really well and we can’t thank you enough.”
