TLC’s Parent Taster Evenings: A Recipe for Success! – 10th October 2024
Our Schools Education Catering team has been busy hosting ‘Parent Taster’ evenings at various local schools across Stockport Borough, offering parents a first-hand experience of the delicious meals their children can enjoy during school mealtimes. These events have been a fantastic opportunity for families to sample our menus and connect with our dedicated catering team.
St. Phillips ‘Parent Taster’ Evening
We recently held a successful open evening at St. Phillips Primary School, welcoming new reception parents who are considering the school for their children’s start in September. Our talented catering team prepared an assortment of delightful cakes and biscuits, giving parents a chance to savour some of the sweet treats that are part of our menu. It was a pleasure to meet the families and share a taste of what their children can look forward to during school lunches.

Lark Hill Primary School ‘Parent Taster’ Evening
At Lark Hill Primary School, our culinary creativity was on full display as our cooks prepared a selection of delicious dishes for parents to try during the evening. The menu included Meatball sliders on soft buns, crispy diced potatoes, and cheesy tomato pasta – a perfect sampling of this term’s delicious new menus.
As you can see from the photos, Joanne, one of our talented cooks, has done an outstanding job with these appetising creations. We think everyone would agree, they look absolutely scrumptious!
