Totally Local Company – Fleet Workshop – New Customer Waiting Area Officially Opened for our customers today!

Totally Local Company is pleased to announce the completion and opening of our improved Customer Waiting area at the Fleet Workshop at Endeavour House today! 

The redesigned space offers a safe, comfortable, and relaxing environment for customers awaiting vehicle inspections. Previously, customers had to wait in the noisy and exposed Fleet Workshop area.

Our Fleet Workshop manages MOTs and compliance testing for Hackney Cabs and Private Hire Taxis for Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council (SMBC). 

The new waiting area is now enclosed, spacious, and features comfortable seating and large windows for ample natural light, enhancing our clients’ experience.

Our Head of Fleet, Ste Stringer, and DeNiro Project Manager, Jenny Fullerton, would like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication in completing this phase of the project.

Further upgrades to the fleet services are continuing with the digitisation of the end-to-end taxi vehicle inspection process and the removal of manual paper test certificates expected to be implemented later this year.
