Streetcare Thank You – high-speed roads

Shout Out to our Streetcare team who have been putting safety-first on high-speed roads across Stockport.

The team undertook vegetation cut back, gully cleaning and street cleansing to keep our busy roads safe.

The work, completed over a nine-week period, focused on the high-speed roads in the borough: the A555 / A6, A34, Crookilley Way, St Marys Way and Tiviot Way.

The programme of work involved all Streetcare teams with the valued assistance of members of our Parks team – including tractor flail.

Thanks also to our Highways team who coordinated our departments to ensure disruption was minimised for the people of Stockport.

Additionally, thanks to those in our Streetlighting and Highways teams for their work on these roads during this period of time.
